The SPE International Polyolefins™ 2010 Conference will take place February 21-24 in Houston, TX, it was announced today by the Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE). The event will take place at the Hilton Houston North Hotel.

The conference program will address innovations in catalyst and process technologies, additive systems, and compounding techniques, as well as trends in key markets. On February 24-25, SPE will also host a series of one- and two-day seminars in conjunction with the Polyolefins Conference.

“For over three decades, the SPE Polyolefins Conference has consistently attracted exhibitors, presenters, and attendees from around the globe,” said conference chair Don Witenhafer. “Even in the challenging economic environment of 2009, over 450 people attended the most recent conference to hear more than 80 technical presentations. The event also provided more than 60 exhibitors and sponsors with the opportunity to market to the industry’s technical leaders.”

SPE co-sponsors of Polyolefins 2010 include the South Texas Section, the Flexible Packaging Division, the Thermoplastic Materials and Foams Division, and the Polymer Modifiers and Additives Division.
