Jancik Arts International (JAI), creators of award-winning stained glass ceiling domes for the hospitality industry, will showcase a new collection of faux-casted glass art at the HD Boutique Expo & Conference in Las Vegas, May 14 - 16, 2009.
In today's challenging market, the hospitality industry must deliver an affordable, yet memorable experience to the guest. Each one-of-a-kind, hand designed piece by JAI provides a sleek, present day look at up to half the cost of authentic casted glass.
JAI's faux-casted offerings are up to 50% more affordable than authentic casted glass, as well as environmentally friendly. The company uses Starphire (low iron) glass for higher clarity and better light transmission when using LED or neon edge lighting, which causes the design to illuminate brilliantly from within.
Highly versatile, JAI's faux-casted glass collection features a variety of themes, from Raindrops to Pyramids and is ideal for interior spaces: booth dividers, tabletops and door inserts in lobbies and restaurants. Designs can also be custom crafted to meet the specific requirements of any interior environment. View collection: http://www.jancikarts.com/cast_glass/cast_glass.html
What's so hot about Jancik's faux-casted glass art? According to Angelique Jackson, JAI President and Chief Designer, it's because faux-casted glass is a cold technique and can be tempered, laminated, insulated, bent, shaped and drilled, all with an artistic twist. "Our faux-casted pieces reflect a convergence of Old and New World techniques that brings together the best of both worlds."
Since unveiling the technique at HD Boutique's Expo in Miami last year, JAI has added a water-based, environmentally friendly, patented coating to the glass. This creates a thin, translucent film that contains the glass in the event of breakage, thereby preventing dangerous accidents.
Architects and interior designers, especially those who design hip, sophisticated environments, are responding most favorably to Jancik's faux-cased offerings. "Fabulous technique! Even if our budget doesn't allow for a large surface area of this product, it can be used judiciously for an impressive impact," notes John White, Architect, INOX Architects.
Please stop by the JAI booth # 6353 to see samples of this brilliant to new art form, and meet the designer, Ms. Jackson in person. You will also have a chance to register for a prize give-away, a 12" x 15" x 1/2" thick Starphire crystal glass panel.
