Trelleborg Acquires Aftermarket Pipe Seals Business for SEK 10m

Through its Building Systems business area, the Trelleborg Group has signed an agreement to acquire the operations of the Norwegian company Batek, which specializes in the aftermarket for pipe seals.

The acquisition complements Trelleborg Building Systems operations in its Pipe Seals segment and provides access to the expanding aftermarket in the Nordic region. Batek has annual sales of approximately SEK 10 M. The formal takeover of the business will become effective on October 1, 2004.
