Hydro Building Systems will supply its Technal-brand extruded-aluminium building systems for the new automotive components plant that Hydro Aluminium is building in Suzhou, China. The company will also use the opportunity to showcase its products in situ.
Hydro Building Systems will deliver the curtain wall for the office building at the plant.
In China's fast-growing market, Technal will also use the project as an opportunity to present its Saphir, Titane and Geode casement frames, doors and curtain wall ranges. Issey Engineering Industrial Ltd, located in Shanghai, will install the systems at the Suzhou facility.
Technal, Wicona and Domal are the three main brands in Hydro Building Systems, which is the leader in its field.
Hydro's new wholly owned precision tubing plant is being built at the Suzhou Industrial Park, which is located about 80 kilometers north of Shanghai. Operations will begin in 2005.
