RS Technologies Ships Composite Utility Poles to Mexico's Federal Electricity Commission

RS Technologies Inc. ("RS") (RS - TSX), a technology innovator and manufacturer of advanced composite products for infrastructure markets, announces it has fulfilled an order to ship six truckloads of RStandard(R) composite utility poles to Mexico's Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) to serve as an initial emergency stockpile. This is RS's first order with CFE and within Mexico.

CFE, Mexico's sole electricity generation, transmission and distribution company, plans to use this initial order of RStandard composite poles for emergency restoration situations in its grid locations along Mexico's coastline, which is subject to periodic severe weather events.

"This initial order with CFE is another step in our efforts to broaden the market for our RStandard poles in North America," said Paul Giannelia, president and chief executive officer of RS. "We welcome the opportunity to have our poles used for emergency service restoration in high risk areas, such as CFE's hurricane prone coastlines. Our poles are well suited for this use as they can increase the safety and speed in which a utility can restore power."
