ARPRO to Commence Production in India and Expand Production in China

ARPRO further expands global reach with new production site in India and expanded production in China.

A new JSP manufacturing site will be built in Chennai, India, and is planned to be in production by 2011. In addition production capacity is to be extended at the JSP site in Guangdong, China; bringing capacity at all JSP's sites in China to 14 kt per annum. Both JSP operations will be manufacturing and supplying ARPRO, a strong, lightweight material that enables car-makers to reduce vehicle weight, cut manufacturing costs and increase occupant safety.

In China, JSP has two production sites manufacturing ARPRO for automotive applications such as impact protection, interior components, seating and acoustic insulation as well as providing packaging materials for IT products and electrical appliances. In order to meet increasing demand in the China market, JSP has decided to enhance their production capacity at their Guangdong plant. The expansion of the manufacturing plant will be completed by December 2011.

The expansion of JSP's manufacturing capacity across Asia will increase access to JSP products and expertise and increase the global implementation of ARPRO applications in series production. Continued investment in both R&D and new capacity, demonstrates JSP's commitment to global supply.
