Formerly DGP Group, Intelsius, a global manufacturer and distributor of environmentally safe, temperature-controlled and regulatory-compliant packaging solutions, announced the completion of its corporate rebranding efforts, including a new corporate identity, logo and redesign of its flagship website.
The rebranding leverages the strong credibility the company has developed over the past decade and enables Intelsius to better emphasize its solutions-focused approach while providing a platform for future initiatives and partnerships.
The new visual representation of the brand will appear in the company's marketing and on its products and packaging. The new Intelsius website, which will launch later this year, will feature improved functionality, a robust search function and additional tools that will increase efficiency in doing business with Intelsius.
The rebranding reflects the company's growing global presence, as Intelsius currently has manufacturing facilities, distribution hubs and local offices throughout the world including the Americas, Europe and Asia.
"As a growing company in an increasingly global playing field, we continue to push the envelope in technology and customization to provide the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries with world-class solutions for distributing highly valuable, temperature-sensitive and regulatory-compliant materials," said David P. Walsh, founder and CEO of Intelsius. "We believe our rebranding will yield growth opportunities as we continue to expand the scope of our products across the spectrum of the life sciences supply network."
As part of the rebranding, Intelsius also announced the launch of Orcatherm, one of its most innovative packaging solutions to date. Orcatherm solutions are suitable for the transport and intermediate storage of temperature sensitive materials. The Orcatherm range has been engineered to ensure optimal thermal protection for high value shipments during distribution within the most challenging of environments.
As a heavy-duty, ruggedized passive temperature-controlled shipping system, Orcatherm is completely reusable and is uniquely designed with encapsulated Vacuum Insulated Panels (VIPs). This produces up to seven times the insulating effects as the same thickness of less eco-friendly materials such as Styrofoam (EPS), Extruded PolyStyrene (XPS) and Expanded Polyurethane (PUR).
Orcatherm incorporates next-generation bio-based phase change technology that provides enhanced thermal performance and decreases both the total weight and volumetric weight of the shipping system.
"This initiative reaffirms our transformation from a product provider to a leading solutions supplier," said Andrew Mills, CEO of Intelsius Americas. "Orcatherm and the technical expertise required to develop it emphasize our commitment to providing customers with technologies that better help them reach their research and scientific goals."
