After successfully held China Steel Summit 2009, China Steel Summit 2010 will be held in Beijing, China in November again, which is one of the most high level events in China steel industry.
Numbers of the giants and experts in China steel industry will get together again to share their insights with government decision makers, help steel makers and end users interact, update institutional investors of the market dynamics, and facilitate the decision making of all participants. Together we will envisage the trend of iron and steel industry in 2011.
China Steel Summit 2010 has already got the support from China Steel Logistics Committee of China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing (CSLPC), which is authorized to set up by the Central People’s Government of the People’s Republic of China.
Last year, more than 100 presidents, general managers and vice presidents attended China Steel Summit 2009.
“The steel summit held by CBI has offered senior executives from iron & steel companies great opportunities to discuss with each other, thus clarifying their vision about the future and their roles in the industry”, said Zhang Long, General Manager of Sales Company of Nanjing Iron & Steel United Co., Ltd
Zhuang Binjun, Chief Representative of Western Australia Trade Office also said, “At this conference, I met delegates from many leading Chinese steel companies. They are prospective investors. I successfully promoted the investment opportunities in Western Australia. Many Chinese delegates have already been arranging business visits. It’s great!”
Iron ore negotiations being the tip of the iceberg this year, underlying issues are essentially the production capacity, heavy pollution and high energy consumption, structural problems, etc., which are challenging the competence of China’s steel industry. How can China transform from a big steel country to a strong one? Will 2010 witness the beginning of the transformation?
