New GS Poster Paper Gloss from Epson America for Commercial Signage Applications

Epson America, Inc. today announced GS Poster Paper Gloss, a new solvent media for commercial signage applications and POP (point of purchase) displays that require maximum image quality and durability, yet at prices that are comparable to grade poster paper.

This paper's unique multiple-Mylar coating contributes to maximizing resistance against scratching while providing a smooth, glossy surface that's optimized for images with deep, dense blacks and vibrant colors. GS Poster Paper also achieves near-instant dry times for immediate handling and can be laminated and displayed for indoor and outdoor signage applications.

"Epson is committed to providing the ultimate solvent media papers that exceed the expectations of its customers, and GS Poster Paper Gloss is certainly no exception," said Jeff Smith, product manager, Epson America, Inc. "There currently is no other paper on the market that offers such an ideal combination of stunning image quality and durability at a price point that's this competitive. Combine all of those factors with extremely fast dry times and you've got a paper that's positioned to reset some standards for the rest of the industry."

GS Poster Paper Gloss will be available in October for approximately $0.34 per square foot. It will be available in 75-foot length rolls, in 30-inch, 54-inch and 60-inch widths, which will be sold through Epson Authorized Resellers.
