Hypodermic tubes have medical and industrial applications. Most commonly used as hypodermic needles, hypodermic tubes are also utilized as spacers, guide wires, cannulas and capillary tubing. Hypodermic tubes are made with stainless steel. Fabrication starts with a strip of stainless steel. The steel is then rolled into tubes, welded, and plug drawn to gauge size. Through these steps of fabrication, these tubes appear seamless and can hold tight tolerance.
