Tampa-based contract packaging company, Versatile Packagers, has experienced an increase in their number of customers recently due to companies' needs for downsizing.

Versatile Packagers utilizes its warehouse space for product storage, fulfillment and distribution. With recent spikes in demand, they are opening a second facility in July of 2011, which will be an additional 85,000 square feet for executing these services.
Many manufacturers, distributors and retailers who choose to outsource their warehousing needs and logistics operations save time and money, through accurate, well-managed inventory and supply chain solutions.

According to the International Warehouse Logistics Association recent studies have shown that about 80 percent of Fortune 500 companies outsource at least one function – the largest such number in history.
In addition to increasing efficiency, outsourcing reduces a company's need for costly inventory storage space, lessens the need for an internal supply of specialists and training, eliminates peak staffing problems, provides value-added services, increases customer satisfaction, avoids the cost of chasing the latest technologies and relieves executive teams from day-to-day process managing.
