Household cleaning products manufacturer Jeyes has chosen coloured trigger bottles from RPC UKSC for the packaging of its new Easy range, with clear versions supplied by sister site RPC Llantrisant.
Jeyes has been a RPC customer for several years, buying stock containers for the packaging of its range. The company recently purchased the Easy brand, with a view to promoting a range of budget household cleaners under this name.
The trigger spray format was deemed the most appropriate packaging solution for its convenience, with Jeyes particularly interested in the design of RPC Llantrisant’s 750 ml clear PET bottle.
At the same time, Jeyes was keen to use vividly coloured bottles to ensure an eye-catching on-shelf image, a requirement that led to RPC UKSC’s factory in Plenmeller, which was able to replicate the PET bottle in a coloured HDPE variant. Crucially, RPC UKSC was able to meet Jeyes’ request for a fast turnaround, with nine colour variants in store within 12 weeks of initial discussions.
The full Easy cleaner range is decorated with distinctive labels that also bear the Jeyes name, an important aspect of the product branding.
"With bottles carrying both the Easy and Jeyes names, we needed a packaging solution that delivered on convenience and quality,” explains Neil Bennett, Purchasing Manager of Jeyes. "RPC UKSC and Llantrisant have met these criteria with the highest standards of functionality, aesthetics and speed of service.”
