In response to a rapid growth in retail demand for its line of mobile device protection solutions, Wrapsol, LLC., has moved its Boston area manufacturing and operational headquarters to an expanded facility in Canton, MA.
A leading maker of protective film solutions, the company is also opening a sales office and design center in Los Angeles, California.
Founded in 2008 by a team with more than 60 years combined experience in the adhesives industry, Wrapsol has experienced tremendous growth and demand for its products in the past 24 months. Covering over 40 of today’s most popular mobile devices, the Wrapsol product line is now available in major retail chains including WalMart, Sears/Kmart, Staples and Office Depot plus independent retailers, for a combined retail reach in more than 10,000 stores nationwide.
“The Wrapsol team has worked hard to deliver a new and innovative line of device protection systems. We are very pleased to see our products resonate with retailers and consumers alike, and are looking forward to new opportunities created in our expanded headquarters and new regional offices,” said Lew Cohen, founder and president of Wrapsol.
Wrapsol continues to evolve its protective film technologies to produce the strongest and most durable protection for mobile devices possible with patents pending in the space. In March 2010, the company introduced Wrapsol ultra, the first-ever line of adhesive films for devices to include a shock absorption property that provides body and screen protection in the case of falls of up to 6 feet. In October, the company announced Wrapsol clean, a line of anti-glare and anti-fingerprint protective film wraps and screen protectors for today’s leading mobile devices. The full Wrapsol product line currently includes more than 500 SKUs with MSRPs starting at $14.95.
