In the biggest product launch in the company’s 31-year history, InPro Corporation reported today that its new BioPolyPETG+ green building products have led to stunning gains in quotes.
InPro will be exhibiting its BioPolyPETG+ line at Booth 761 at the 2010 GreenBuild Expo, November 17-19 in Chicago.
“We’ve been extremely pleased with the market’s acceptance of our new biopolymer sustainable door and wall protection products,” said Phil Ziegler, InPro’s president. “All six of our domestic regions are now quoting between 20% - 30% of their door and wall business in BioPolyPETG+, with one region quoting at over 90%. For a product that’s been on the market for just over seven months, it’s spectacular. We’re being rewarded once again for our innovative expertise.”
Ziegler went on to say that quotation activity reflects a solid stream of future business for the firm. “We’re stacking up more business from large, longer-term projects like hospitals and schools thanks to BioPolyPETG+ green building products. So, we will enjoy a solid revenue stream as these projects ramp up,” Ziegler said.
In March, InPro rolled out a new line of sustainable door and wall protection products made from a blend of biopolymer and reformulated PETG including recycled content. The green building products are sold at the same price level as InPro vinyl products, and marketed under the BioPolyPETG+ trade name. The products hold GREENGUARD® certification for Indoor Air Quality as well as the Children and Schools seal.
All of the raw materials used in their manufacturing process for the BioPolyPETG+ product line come from U.S. based suppliers. No materials are shipped in from overseas, keeping the carbon footprint to a minimum. The new BioPolyPETG+ blend has already obtained its NFPA Class 1 fire rating and the blending of biopolymer also means InPro products may contribute to LEED® credit for rapidly renewable material.
InPro’s blend of biopolymer and PETG does not contain PBTs. It also is BPA free. InPro uses PETG as a base and blends it with a plant-based biopolymer to give the materials high-impact resistance. The base PETG holds a Silver Cradle to Cradle Certification(CM).
