Aleris Wins 2010 Best Supplier Award for Raw Materials from Embraer

Embraer named Aleris "2010 Best Supplier for Raw Material" at an awards ceremony on November 9, 2010 in Sao Jose Dos Campos, Brasil, distinguishing Aleris's performance from among the approximately 400 companies that supply raw materials to Embraer.

In presenting the award to Aleris, Embraer vice president, Supply Chain Helio Bambini Filho said, "Aleris has shown adaptability and flexibility in managing the challenges we have faced, as well as a commitment to meeting Embraer's expectations. Nowadays, being a good supplier involves more than a strong relationship, excellent delivery performance, outstanding quality and immediate response.  It is actually a matter of partnership."

This is the third time Aleris has been honored by Embraer, having also won the award in 2002 and 2005.
