Safetek International, Inc. (Pink Sheets: SFIN) an incubator of and investor in green technology and Eco-Friendly start-up companies, announced today that Oneota Community Food Co-op, a natural food Co-op has purchased the eco-friendly, non-toxic ewrap™ food film.
Newave Packaging, Inc., a Safetek International portfolio company provides ewrap™ Food Film, which will be used in packaging meats and vegetables for resale in the store, and offers a healthy alternative to PVC film. ewrap™ does not require any additional or specialized dispensers, it can be dispensed from the same dispensers currently being used by food packagers.
Commenting on this order, Dr. Fredrik Verkroost, President of Newave Packaging, Inc. said "It is encouraging to see specialty stores and natural food stores leading the way by switching to environmentally friendly products, allowing their customers to enjoy the benefits of wrapping food in non-toxic food film, such as our ewrap™ food film.
