Surface Guard Releases 73 Protective Film for Complex Surfaces

Surface Guard® 73 Protective Film features a polyethylene film coated with their proprietary blend of premium aqueous adhesives resulting in a masking that is soft and extremely aggressive.

The chemistry of the 73 series protective film provides high tack and medium- high peels which helps the film adhere to difficult and complex surfaces. It has a lighter coat weight than competitive products making it much more appealing to the budget. The unique properties of this series make it an ideal product for applications such as the protection of carpet and various stone surfaces. The lower shear value makes it less friendly for surfaces with high surface energy like smooth glossy unpainted metals. Surface Guard 73® Protective Film provides short term surface protection during processing, assembly, and shipping while providing a clean removal when protection is no longer needed.

Surface Guard® 73 Protective Film can be supplied on a various types of polyethylene films with various thickness (clear and tinted films are available). On request Surface Guard can print the film to include a brand identity, technical information or instructions for lamination or processing. Surface Guard® 73 series can be supplied in widths from 1” up to 80” and in lengths up to 15,000’.
