Alliance Polymers Launches New Thermoplastic Elastomer in North America

Alliance Polymers & Services, following the introduction of this new TPE at the K Show, announces the availability of a new high heat (up to 302°F or 150° C) thermoplastic elastomer to North American markets.

This new TPE offering is ideally suited for automotive and other high temperature applications.

With a Shore A hardness of 82, the new Maxelast® TPE grade from Polymax Elastomer Technology offers users a product that is easy to process, and provides a finished product that is both esthetically pleasing and durable.

Maxelast TPEs, formulated by Polymax, are used by many well known companies that include car manufacturer Honda and Volkswagen. Products and services are targeted to be highly competitive (price, delivery, processing and end-product quality) to the leading TPEs currently available on the market. APS recently announced they are considering opening production facilities with their partner Polymax at an undisclosed location in the U.S.
