Brand owners and package converters have always recognized the importance of shelf appeal of packaged goods in consumers' purchasing decisions.
In recent years labeling has become an especially critical component in optimizing a brand's shelf appeal. Numerous new cutting-edge developments in printing technology, smart labels, security labels, and sustainability are changing the game in terms of competitive advantage, production costs, connecting with consumers, brand enhancement and recyclability. This has made it all the more imperative that brand owners keep abreast of these labeling developments to either to reinvigorate or launch packaged products.
Until now there was no forum at which brand owners and package converters could interact with label converters to learn about the latest developments in label technology. The new TechLabel 2011 conference uniquely addresses this need.
TechLabel 2011 will feature sessions on Smart Labels, Digital Printing to Enhance Brand Equity, Sustainable Labels, Security Labeling, and Labeling Aesthetics to Build Brands. Concluding the conference will be a Brand Owners Panel featuring representatives from major consumer product companies discussing their development programs, needs, challenges, and opinions on the direction of the industry. Complementing the TechLabel 2011 conference will be a table top exhibition.
TechLabel 2011 label conference will take place January 27-28, 2011, immediately following the NOVA-PACK 2011 International PET Container Conference on Food and Beverages, at the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island (near Jacksonville), Florida, USA. NOVA-PACK 2011, running from January 26-27 and now in its 27th iteration, has traditionally drawn a large percentage of brand owners and bottle converters. It is anticipated that many of them will also be interested in attending TechLabel 2011.
