Flux Power Incorporated introduces a new lithium battery system for Polaris Ranger EVs.

Flux power introduces a game changer for the EV ATV market with a lithium battery upgrade kit that lasts up to 10 years or up to 3000 cycles. This new Flux Power kit is targeted at customers wanting better performance from their existing Polaris Ranger EV ATVs. The kit fits in the existing space while saving weight, improving performance and safety. The 48V kit comes in 8, 9.6, 16, and 19.2KWh versions.

“This new upgrade kit is an amazing addition for anyone wanting to significantly increase the range, improve performance and cycle life of their ATV’s power pack,” says Flux VP of Sales Ed Munar. “These kits can deliver up to three times the range with far less weight versus the factory system. They also provide enhanced acceleration and top speed,” he added.

The kit comes with all necessary hardware while remaining compatible with the Polaris on-board charger. Included are: Batteries with integrated BMS (Battery Management System), Communication Cables, CAN Current Sensor, State of Charge Indicator, and all mechanical hardware for battery hold down. Each 12v module is monitored by Flux Power’s innovative BMS and charging is regulated by an advanced CAN Current Sensor to assure a maintenance free long-life.

“This upgrade is exactly what so many of my customers have been asking for,” says Mitch Milson Owner of Granbury Motorsports in Granbury, TX. “We are now able to offer our customers extended range and long life battery packs right off the lot,” he added.

Kits can be purchased through any Flux Power Dealer or at any participating Polaris Electric Vehicle Dealer across the U.S.
