Provider of sustainable services and technologies, Metso has announced that it will deliver its entire tissue manufacturing line to the Moroccan Jeesr Industries’ mill in Berrechid near Casablanca. The product line is slated for supply in the fourth quarter of 2012.
Both the companies will not disclose the worth of the deal. However, the market worth of this type of tissue manufacturing line is in the range of € 15 to € 20 million based on the scale of the production output and the delivery. The major portion of the deal is added in the first quarter orders of the automation package in energy and environmental technology and the first quarter orders of the paper and fiber technology.
Metso will supply an entire manufacturing line comprising wrapping equipment, a rewinder, a tissue machine and stock preparation equipment as per the contract. The manufacturing line will be maximized to manufacture high-quality tissue paper at low levels of water and energy consumption.
As per the order, Metso will also deliver a wide range of automation package comprising machine, a quality control system, incorporated and process drive controls. The new manufacturing line will manufacture nearly 30,000 tons of top-quality towel, toilet and facial grade products per year. Virgin pulp will be used as the raw material for the new production line.
