Merritt International Unveils Crackle Tumblers Made of Eastman Tritan copolyester

Producer of modern tableware, Merritt International has launched Crackle tumblers that are produced with Eastman Tritan copolyester. The next-generation copolyester, Tritan is rugged, resistant to chemical and heat and does not contain bisphenol A (BPA).

Crackle tumblers

Merritt International used the Eastman Tritan copolyester for its margarita, champagne, wine beverageware launched in 2009. The new line of Crackle tumblers, which replace the polycarbonate tumblers, matches the acrylic range of beverageware currently available in the market. They are available in three colors such as bronze, celadon green and clear and in two sizes 17 oz and 14 oz.

According to Merritt International, the Eastman Tritan copolyester does not whiten, craze and crack even after regular use and is not affected by dishwashing detergents. The company produces BPA-free beverageware to meet customers’ demands. They are available at outdoor living retailers, garden centers and high-end gift stores.

Merritt International displayed the beverageware at the International Home & Housewares Show, which was conducted in Chicago from 6 to 8 March 2011.
