Provider of nanotechnology-based energy conserving solutions, Industrial Nanotech has proclaimed that it will supply its patented Nansulate coating material to an industrial boiler producer. The latter will apply the Nansulate protective coating on new devices.
With this deal, Industrial Nanotech made an entry into the heat process equipment OEM market. The Nansulate is an energy-conserving protective coating with properties such as high chemical resistance, fire resistance, mold growth resistance, corrosion resistance and thermal insulation. It is an eco-friendly, water-based coating formulation with lead encapsulation. The company will generate an estimated revenue of $5 million from the OEM agreement per year.
The Vice President of Business Development at Industrial Nanotech, Francesca Crolley, stated that the deal paves the way into the OEM market of heat process equipment such as pressure reduction stations, return and distribution lines, valves, steam traps, heat exchangers and boilers. The deal also extends the value of the company’s other OEM markets such as consumer goods and building materials, Crolley said.
The Nansulate protective coating offers better energy consumption in heat process equipment, resulting in lower payback period of 12 to 18 months. It offers better insulating solutions for steam process systems, thus decreasing carbon emissions and resulting in longer operating life.
