New Adhesive Technology Platform from H.B. Fuller

Worldwide adhesives provider, H.B. Fuller introduces a new adhesive technology platform, Advantra Encore. It is a proprietary, custom designed platform that delivers a superior hot melt performance.

This new globally available product is designed for packaging customers. The performance of the new hot melt exceeds the metallocene-based adhesive performance. Hence, it sets a new performance standard and is suitable in the long run.

H.B. Fuller’s team has used advanced conventional formulations to develop the new adhesive. Advantra Encore is custom designed for use in high performance carton and case sealers. Compared to traditional hot melts, the new  packaging adhesive offers wide service temperature range, greater mileage and exceptional bonding.

Advantra Encore adhesive provides excellent bonding on several substrates such as content board and coated stocks. The material has faster adhering capability due to its violent hot tack. High bonding and low density characteristics provide additional mileage to the product.

H.B. Fuller’s new hot melt works in wide temperature ranges i.e. from -20° to 140°F or from -29° to 60° C. Carton and case sealers using Advantra Encore need not depend on multiple adhesives for managing the various service temperatures. This might offer manufacturing benefits like decrease in maintenance, efficiency improvement and making operations simpler.
