US Marine’s V-22 Osprey Aircraft Uses Latrobe’s Triple-Melted Alloys

Latrobe Specialty Steel’s triple-melted alloys were utilized in the US Marine’s V-22 Osprey tilt-rotor aircraft to rescue the ejected US pilot from the Libyan Desert.

Latrobe premium alloys are utilized in the vital parts of specially designed V-22 Osprey tilt-rotor mechanism such as the engines, rotor shafts and transmission gearboxes.
