Despatch Industries, the leader in thermal process technologies for carbon fiber production, announces today that Deakin University and the Victorian Center for Advanced Materials Manufacturing (VCAMM) have selected Despatch to supply a fully integrated, pilot-scale carbon fiber manufacturing line at the new Australian Carbon Fiber Research Facility (ACFRF). The ACFRF is currently under construction at Deakin University's Waurn Ponds Campus in Geelong, Victoria.
ACFRF is the world's first research facility for carbon fiber innovation. The focus of the new center is on advancing the quality and expanding the application base of carbon fiber materials.

"This facility will lead the way in developing new fibers for the global carbon fiber industry, using Despatch technology."
