Sainsbury Uses RPC’s PET Bottle for its New Range of Food Extracts

Sainsbury, supermarket giant, utilizes PET bottle packaging from RPC Containers Blackburn for its new range of food extracts.

The bottle, which has been manufactured for Food Innovation is lightweight, unbreakable, safe and easy to use. Hence, the product is suitable for kitchen application. The custom 43.5 ml bottle has clear exterior look. The high transparency of the bottle shows the vivid colours of the contents.

Sainsbury has added a new range of products to the Taste the Difference portfolio and relaunched them in autumn 2010. The new variety of premium flavouring and home baking products are packed in the RPC’s PET bottle. The food extracts are clearly visible and easy to identify in the PET packaging.

It has been noted that the demand for home baking products is rising and it is the quality that consumers look for when buying the products. RPC’s packaging helps in meeting this requirement.
