Universal Display declared that it has expanded its footprint in Japan with a new subsidiary to offer better service to its OLED display and white lighting clients and collaborators in the nation.
The new subsidiary called Universal Display Corporation Japan KK will be located in Tokyo. Dr. Kentaro Harada will serve as Key Technical Account Manager in the new subsidiary.
OLED lighting, which uses Universal Display’s UniversalPHOLED technology and materials, is an emerging market with considerable growth prospective in Japan in the upcoming years. The new office will serve as a base for extending the firm’s technical assistance and service abilities in Japan, promoting the current business cooperation provided by Mr. Ichiro Nakagawa and N’s Network to Universal Display in Japan for more than 15 years.
Ichiro Nakagawa, Official General Representative of Universal Display, stated that the subsidiary further depicts the company’s dedication in offering extensive technical and business assistance to its Japan-based OLED clients and collaborators. Nakagawa added that the company is well placed to extend its presence in Japan to enhance its association with Japanese OLED display and white OLED lighting firms.
