MEI Completes Major Order of Semiconductor Wet Bench Process Systems

MEI LLC, an international provider of wet process systems and services for the semiconductor and other high technology industries, has completed the 17th order for semiconductor wet processing systems.

MEI's New Wet Bench Production Facility

The company has manufactured and supplied the systems to a major compound semiconductor producer. Wafer cleaning, plating and stripping processes, and compound semiconductor etch are main applications of the wet benches. The semiconductor producer has placed the order for custom wafer processing systems in September 2010.

MEI has delivered the tools at scheduled time. The company has also met the production specifications, which help it to meet rising business opportunities. The production of wet processing systems signifies the success of both MEI and the semiconductor manufacturer.

Dan Cappello, MEI’s CEO, stated that the company is happy to complete this large, challenging order and was able to meet the needs of its client. The quality and performance requirements of the semiconductor company have been fulfilled through its Achiever wet processing platforms and Revolution rotary wet benches. The company’s new wet bench production plant had supported the fast delivery schedule.
