Boulder Canyon Unveils Single-Serve Compostable Package

A new single-serve compostable snack bag will be introduced by Boulder Canyon Natural Foods to demonstrate its commitment for Earth Day event.

Totally Natural kettle potato chips are available in the new 2-ounce packaging. Boulder Canyon uses wood pulp as raw material for producing the compostable package. The wood pulp has been obtained from Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC) certified plantation and is certified to address the American Society for Testing and Materials standard, “Specification for Compostable Plastics.”

The package can be composted either in industrial or residential composters. Through organic recycling program, the single-serve bags can be recycled or burned at state-of-the-art incineration facilities.

The single-serve snack chip bags are sustainable and offer a convenient packaging solution. They offer snacking products at reasonable price and help reduce landfill waste.
