Solegear Announces Strategic Partnerships for Bioplastic Production

Solegear Bioplastics announced that it has entered into two strategic alliances with reputed companies to manufacture Traverse and Polysole bioplastics.

The alliance marks a major milestone for the company and represents its progress in the bioplastics market. The two production facilities, which are based in Georgia and California, were selected in view of their capabilities to provide reliable and quality bioplastics.

The location allows Solegear to further enhance its operational capabilities on the West Coast of North America and the Eastern Seaboard.

Toby Reid, Founder and CEO of Solegear, stated that the new partnerships will support the company’s long term success and help deliver higher volumes of quality products annually.

California-based Ferco Compounding is the new West Coast manufacturing partner of Solegear. Jennifer Thaw, President of Ferco said that the company is happy to support Solegear's objectives for significant growth in the bioplastics industry. Ferco’s expertise and long-term commitment will help achieve this goal by offering high-quality bioplastic products. The production of the Traverse and Polysole bioplastics will commence shortly at the two facilities.
