Franklin Introduces Water-Based Adhesives for Printing Applications

Franklin Adhesives & Polymers has launched a new line of water-based adhesives, Flex, for the printing industry. The new range allows printing firms to print adhesives on flexography equipment in an easy and cost-effective way.

The Flex line of 11 water-based adhesives is ideal for repositionable, removable, permanent and specialty applications. The range includes two Micronax and nine Covinax adhesives. Micronax adhesives are ideal for repositionable applications such as repositionable packaging and sticky notes, while Covinax adhesives are suitable for removable, permanent and specialty applications.

The water-based adhesives can be applied easily on printers. Since Flex line of products is solvent-free, they are safe for consumers and the environment. Equipment cleanup after operation is also simplified by the adhesives.

Franklin is happy to introduce the adhesives to streamline the flexography processes, thus helping the printing companies to significantly enhance their services. Franklin assist companies who want to utilize the Flex adhesives to spot other parts required to enable their flexography equipment to process water-based adhesives.
