Rogers Expands PORON ThinStik Series of Self-Adhesive Foams

Today’s handheld devices are increasing in functionality and decreasing in size. Hence, to attain correct balance of sealing and protection with ultra thin application is a major design challenge.

Rogers, a pioneer in specialty materials and components serving power electronics, consumer electronics, clean technology, mass transit and telecommunications infrastructure, has launched two new foams to meet this growing requirement. The new foam additions, called the PORON ThinStik ShockSeal 79TS1-09021and the PORON ThinStik 92TS1-09020, expand the PORON ThinStik series.

The PORON ThinStik ShockSeal foam integrates the compressibility and impact protection features of the ThinStik and ShockSeal range. The foam provides exceptional sealing properties and greater z-axis tear strength. The ThinStik ShockSeal 79TS1-09021 foam is suitable for areas where optimum impact protection is necessary. The 92TS1-09020 foam combines tear strength and compressibility. This versatile foam also offers high impact protection.
