Society of Plastics Engineers Now Accepting Abstracts for ANTEC 2012

The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) is now accepting abstract and paper submissions for the SPE-ANTEC 2012 Conference. The submission deadline is October 19, 2011. The entire submission and review process is conducted online.

ANTEC is the world's largest plastics technical conference. SPE-ANTEC 2012 will co-locate with SPI's NPE2012 in Orlando, FL, U.S.A., at the Orange County Convention Center. The conference will take place April 2-4, 2012.

Plastics industry professionals who submit papers to ANTEC 2012 have a choice between two tracks: technical or commercial. The technical track includes more traditional ANTEC papers, which address new technologies and techniques currently in development in the plastics industry. The commercial track is for papers that speak to commercial applications of these technologies and techniques, and can be similar to a case study.

"ANTEC 2011 paper submissions increased by 25%, and we're optimistic that we'll see an equally strong turnout for ANTEC 2012," said Mark Spalding, ANTEC 2012-13 Technical Program Chair. "When ANTEC co-located with NPE2009, paper submission volume increased to near record-breaking levels. Presenters will raise their visibility with their peers and reach the widest ANTEC audience possible during NPE next year."

Papers can be submitted on the ANTEC website at www.antec.ws.
