Magnum Pv has announced that it will produce ultra-efficient solar photovolatic modules at its modern production line in Brampton, Ontario from October 2011. Schmid Technology Systems, a technology firm in Germany, had developed the production line.
Magnum Pv will release the first CSA/UL-certified solar modules from the production line in mid-October 2011. The system’s central part has a completely automated tabber stringer that includes highly accurate contact-less resistance soldering, which significantly decreases long-term cell deterioration due to thermal micro fractures.
Magnum Pv has years of experience in metals and conventional power production. It is an entity of the Magnum Group of Companies and headquartered in Brampton, Ontario.
At present, Magnum Pv is receiving orders for its first production runs. The company offers superior quality polycrystalline and monocrystalline photovoltaic modules of 300, 290, 250, 245 W in Ontario. Moreover, it offers a full range of turnkey solutions such as commissioning, deployment, development, funding and project planning.
