JL Packaging Group has established its North American operations for aesthetic metal packaging under the ‘Metalmorphosis’ banner.
JL Packaging Group is a Chinese company with operations in Shanghai and Dongguan and has sales of 100 million USD. It operates five production facilities and has employed more than 4,000 workers. The company’s US sales team comprises graphic and industrial designers and employees who provide order assistance and real time project development to customers.
The Vice President of Sales and Marketing at JL Packaging Group, William Dinger stated that the company was established to manufacture cost-effective metal packaging products with superior quality, innovative graphic and structural designs. The company’s value proposition is to integrate the benefits of China-based production and customer-focused, professionally trained sales team in the US, he added.
According to Kevin Chen, who serves as VP of Operations at JL Packaging Group, the company accepts custom design projects as it has a comprehensive line of tools in all possible configurations, shapes and sizes.
JL Packaging Group will build a new facility measuring 1,030,000 sq.ft. in Dongguan in 2012. The plant will feature five additional coaters and six printing presses. All facilities of the company function under a quality management system that is HACCP, SA8000, ISO 22000: 2005 and ISO 9001 certified.
