Targray Technology International has inked a distribution deal with Golden Light Hi-Tech, also known as Shantou Jinguang Hi-Tech Company (U.S.A), to supply electrolyte materials throughout the European and North American markets.
With this deal, Targray now delivers a complete line of tailored electrolyte solutions using inexpensive battery grade, high-purity LIPF6 salt for all lithium-ion applications, ranging from EV cells to consumer electronics.
Electrolyte supplier, Golden Light Hi-Tech, has a strong footprint in Asia. It is a complete integrated producer and can generate both the final electrolyte solution and LIPF6 salt. The company will continue its investment and focus in the research and development of next-generation energy storage materials for the lithium-ion battery market.
According to Stanley Ma, who serves as Chief Operating Officer at Golden Light Hi-Tech, Targray has more than two decades of expertise in the production of high quality, inexpensive materials, which are supplied to high-technology production customers across the globe. The combination of Targray’s expertise in the lithium-ion battery industry and Golden Light Hi-Tech’s high manufacturing capacity will be effective in delivering the electrolyte solutions to battery producers in Europe and North America, he added.
The Director of Targray’s Battery division, Pradip Sheth stated that the company’s clients now have more options to select low-cost electrolyte solutions or can customize their electrolyte materials based on their specific needs.
