Entegris will display its innovative solutions for photovoltaic producers at the 2011 Intersolar North America event, which will be held from 12 to 14 July in San Francisco.
The company specializes in the handling and streamlining gas processes, wet chemistries and key substrates that deliver the optimal contamination control and material handling capabilities to accomplish target cell efficiencies required by photovoltaic manufacturers. The solutions offered by the company help boost productivity and efficiency in processing of thin films as well as manufacturing of silicon-based photovoltaic.
Entegris will showcase a list of products at Intersolar North America. These products include POCO graphite and silicon carbide parts, in normal size as well as long size, which function as horizontal carriers and prove useful in high-temperature thermal processes. These parts can remove particle shedding and allow controlled thermal conditions and decrease thermal budget in tough deposition situations.
Entegris will display Savana liquid filters, which will help in eliminating agglomerates and defect-causing particles before reaching the substrate or wafer surface. The Savana filters is designed for less aggressive base or acid applications associated with high particle loads for thin film wet processes. The company provides a wide range of filtration solutions with high chemical resistance and high retention for other aggressive chemistries.
Entegris will display substrate carriers and shippers for transporting and shipping wafers and key substrates. Made from cleanable polypropylene materials, the multifunction shippers can be used in photovoltaic and delivers improved protection, high shipment density, and recycling and reuse capabilities.
