Heraeus’ New Metallization Pastes to be Featured at Intersolar North America

Heraeus, a precious metals and technology group, announced that its Photovoltaics Business Unit will be displaying new front-side metallization pastes at the Intersolar North America event. The pastes are used for mono and multicrystalline wafer applications.

Heraeus Photovoltaics Business Unit develops silver pastes for crystalline solar cells by applying its novel technology in the field of photovoltaics.

The new products to be featured at the event are SOL9411 and SOL9410. The company offers optimum performance to cost ratio in the market. The new metallization pastes further enhance Heraeus’ position in the PV industry.

The SOL9411 and SOL9410 pastes surpass the quality of conventional pastes and deliver high efficiency and throughput processing. These enhanced pastes are optimized for fluctuating emitter depths and concentrations. The pastes also offer several other benefits such as low silver usage, exceptional contact quality on a range of emitters and wafers and excellent aspect ratio.

The SOL9411 and SOL9410 are free from cadmium and are designed for emitter applications with high sheet resistance.
