Direct Pack, a subsidiary of PMC Global and a provider of customized food packaging solutions for the food service, food processing, agricultural and supermarket sectors, has invested to increase the manufacturing platform in Sun Valley, California. The expansion will help the company to serve its increasing number of clients.
The thermoforming equipment and tooling outlook for food packaging are varying at rapid speeds and also the price factor is critical. By investing in the high-tech production plant, Direct Pack will be able to deliver a package that meets the exact requirements of its customers to improve the marketing of their fresh food products.
The capacity expansion in Southern California will extend the company’s customized food service packaging as well as fresh produce packaging line to meet the increasing demands of the Californian agricultural market. Also, the investment in thermoforming, extrusion and material handling equipment will be apt to produce exclusive Bottle-Box line of recycled PET containers.
Craig Snedden, President of Direct Pack, stated that the investment in the manufacturing capacity expansion represents Direct Pack’s commitment to serve its clients and their varying packaging needs by offering novel and sustainable solutions.
