Owens Corning announced the display of a wide range of advanced composite technologies at the China Composites Expo. The company showcases for many end-use markets, including transportation, energy, industrial, construction and building and automotive. These markets offer considerable opportunities for the rapid-growing use of innovative composite solutions.

The company exhibits the thermoset and thermoplastic solutions for the transportation industry. The solutions include cargo and passenger floor liners produced using FliteStrand S roving for aeronautic applications. In addition, automotive front-end modules and spoilers manufactured using Advantex Type 30 roving are displayed at the expo.
Owens Corning is also displaying various game-changing solutions engineered with the company’s high-strength XStrand H glass. Other products that are featured at the China Composites Expo include pultruded rods, high pressure cylinders and pallets made from long fiber thermoplastics (LFT) and reinforced with Type 30 rovings.
Owens Corning has recently made announcement of a new manufacturing plant in the Yuhang Economic and Development Zone, Hangzhou, China to better serve the local market.
