MeadWestvaco (MWV) has introduced upgraded Natralock paperboard-based packaging for Berkley’s new NanoFil fishing line.
The new package from MWV is highly sustainable, secure and is reusable. MWV has also announced the availability of Berkley NanoFil fishing line with Natralock twist-off packaging in retail stores.
Natralock packaging provides stand-out foil graphics and glare-free surfacing for NanoFil. MWV has included a new twist-off feature to its packaging product for producing a reusable design. The company’s design professionals have developed and launched the innovative twist-off blister packing solution based on the product’s usage rate and consumer purchasing habits. The new design helps fisherman to maintain their fishing lines organized between uses. When the seal is opened on the blister, the card gets twisted allowing easy accessibility and reusability.
NanoFil is a unique fishing line that extends the limits for effortless casting, maximum strength and minimum diameter. Berkley has been looking for a packaging solution to represent the above features of the product and to differentiate NanoFil on shelves of the retail stores. By partnering with MWV, Berkley has been able to display its NanoFil fishing line technology in an effective way using MWV’s innovative packaging design.
Another important reason to partner with MWV is the company’s capability to assist in sourcing and designing new packaging sealing machine that complements current equipment used in Berkley’s manufacturing plant in Spirit Lake, Iowa.
