Momentive Specialty Chemicals, a supplier of epoxy systems and services to producers of adhesives, coatings and construction chemicals, announced the availability of its broad array of amine curing agents, epoxy diluents and specialty epoxy resins in South America.
The product line from Momentive comprises HELOXY modifiers, EPON resins, EPIKURE curing agents for waterborne technologies and EPI-REZ waterborne resins. These products are suitable for applications requiring high elongation, low moisture absorption, excellent heat resistance, high mechanical strength and exceptional chemical and corrosion resistance properties. Adhesive, civil engineering, marine and industrial maintenance markets use the epoxy resin products offered by Momentive.
Brenntag has been chosen as a distributor of Momentive’s epoxy resin products in the South American market. The partnership ensures a reliable supply of high-performance products to Momentive’s customers and technical service and applications capability are offered via a regional support center. The company provides local sales support through its offices in Cotia and Curitiba, Brazil.
Momentive has also made an announcement that it will exhibit its complete range of epoxy resin products at the Abrafati International Coatings Congress 2011 event to be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The company will also present a paper on high performance waterborne epoxy systems and formulations.
