North Ireland-based packaging machinery manufacturer, Sepha has announced that the sales of its blister packing and pharmaceutical leak testing equipment, has reached record levels. Over the past two years, the company has introduced three new machines and revamped its existing line of products.
The new machines include Visionscan, which detects leaks found in the packaging of pharmaceuticals produces using hi-resolution images. The other two machines are Mediscan, which is a tool-less device used for detecting leakages in non-porous pouches, sachets and packages for medical devices and EZ Blister II, which is a packing machine for research and development facilities and clinical trial laboratories.
While Visionscan is very popular with customers who are looking for reliable solutions that test leakages at lower costs, the EZ Blister II has been welcomed by customers who require packaging solutions of low volumes. The company will conduct a roadshow across USA, Asia and Europe, which will enable the delivery of these leak testing devices at the doorsteps of customers. According to Paul Kelly, Head of Sales and Marketing the success of its non-destructive line of testing equipment helped the company to be prepared and meet the demands of the customers even during times of recession.
