DuPont has announced that the deadline for entering the 24th DuPont Awards for Packaging Innovation is approaching fast. February 24, 2012 is the final date for registering in the longest running, independently judged, global packaging awards program.
Only commercial products, processes and technologies are eligible for entering into the competition and these products must be launched no earlier than January 1, 2010. Winners will be recognized in May by DuPont senior leadership during a ceremony in Wilmington, Delaware. They will also be requested to involve themselves with the panel jury to get advice and insights during a next educational program.
All entries will be judged by an independent juror panel. They will be evaluated based on a set of criteria: sustainability, innovation and waste/cost reduction. Participants do not need to use DuPont materials in their packaging structure. There is no entry fee for the competition.
DuPont Awards for Packaging Innovation is open to packaging designers, consumer goods producers, equipment manufacturers, converters and retailers from around the world and they are encouraged to register their new product packaging developments.
