Graphic Packaging International and Vacumet have partnered to provide a remarkably attractive finish to KLEENEX Cool Touch Tissues, a new range of facial tissues from Kimberly-Clark.
The tissues produce a cool sensation that will soothe a sore nose, when brought into contact. Kimberly- Clark required a package, which had to be visually appealing when placed on the shelf as well as fitted well with the home décor of users.
Kimberly-Clark joined with Graphic Packaging International and assessed Vacumet's HoloPRISM laminated paperboard to print, convert and fill for KLEENEX Cool Touch tissues. They found it to be a perfect material for use. Hence, Vacumet and Graphic Packaging International partnered to deliver an exclusive holographic brushed aluminum paper tinted with a blue shade to make the innovative product more attractive.
HoloPRISM holographic paper from Vacumet has made the entire converting process of the tissues smoother and easier. National Sales Manager of Graphic Packaging, Michael Dillon stated that HoloPRISM paperboard is used in their laminating facility located in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and it is an ideal material for their processes right from the start to the end.
The innovative facial tissues have been launched in early September 2011 and samples are offered via the 'Softness Worth Sharing' program. Currently, KLEENEX tissues are available in stores.
