Industrial Nanotech, a nanoscience solutions and research firm and member of the U.S. Greenbuilding Council, has declared that its Turkish distributor, Kolorgen has successfully installed the company’s patented Nansulate protective and thermal insulation coatings at the Intem Triko’s textile manufacturing plant located at Istanbul.
This installation is in continuance with successful applications of Nansulate industrial energy saving technology for the insulation of steam pipes, valves, steam boilers, special steam powered dryers, and dye machines to reduce carbon emissions and power consumption, and to lower the surface temperature.
Since the year 2005, Nansulate protective and thermal insulation coatings are being used as a major solution in the textile facility for saving energy. The innovative features and advantages of the nanotechnology based protective coatings have been published in many industrial magazines. This coating technology has been employed at various plants across the world, for achieving low energy consumption and increased sustainability for the textile manufacturers along with the global projects run by Coats. About 20% reduction in energy consumption is achieved on applying the protective insulation coating to the related steam process equipments in the textile facility.
Intem Triko’s Chief Executive Officer, Erhan Eyupoglu said that the company has initiated to implement technologies for greener production. Erhan stated that the installation of the Nansulate coating at the company’s textile facility provides several advantages such as reduced energy consumption, healthy and safe working environment for their employees, and increased green production for the customers.
