Eco Building Products, a producer of proprietary wood products treated with an eco-friendly proprietary chemistry, has secured a framing contract from Heritage Building and Development, based in California.
The order includes supply of Eco Red Shield coated lumber, trusses and labor to develop twelve new homes in the community of Santa Rita, Otay Mesa, Chula Vista, San Diego. Eco Building Products’ wholly owned subsidiary, E Build & Truss, has been awarded the Eco Red Shield package contract for Phase IV of the Santa Rita Project. The company has successfully worked with Heritage Building and Development to enhance the implementation of Eco Red Shield coated products in the homes. The Eco Red Shield wood coating offers protection against fire, termites, rot-decay, wood ingesting insects, fungus and mold or mycotoxins. It is suitable for various building components made of wood, ranging from beams and joists and paneling to ceilings and floors.
Currently, Eco Building Products has secured numerous contracts from home builders in comparable sales - release cycles. Home builders in Southern California appear to lead the U.S. in sales, as orders show a positive growing trend. Steve Conboy, Eco Building Products’ President and CEO, remarked that Heritage Building and Development has been the first production home builder to accept their technology about two years ago.
