Industrial Nanotech’s patented mold resistant and thermal insulation coating called Nansulate Energy Protect has been chosen by BUILDINGS magazine as a top 2012 Money-Saving Product.
Nansulate Energy Protect is one among the 77 products to be reported in the June 2012 issue of BUILDINGS magazine, which selected finalists based on the cost-saving aspects offered to facility managers and building owners in areas, including maintenance, envelope improvement, lighting, water savings, and energy consumption.

The Nansulate Energy Protect technology provides a translucent paint-on insulation that enables factory and building owners to easily coat their ductwork, ceilings, exterior or interior walls, skylights and windows for energy savings. Customers using this product report 20% to 40% savings in heating and cooling expenditures.
Moreover, this product offers moisture resistance, ultraviolet resistance, and fungi and mold growth resistance. The coating can also be applied over windows that cause most of the heat loss. When tested on pane glass, the coating allowed a visible light transmission of 92% and provided a faintly frosted look, thus providing the required daylight to a building and reducing energy losses.
