Virtual Industries, a provider of manual vacuum handling solutions, has announced that the small part handling kit, TV1000-SP8-BD-MAG1, will be highlighted in the upcoming Assembly & Automation Technology Expo. This event will be held from 19 to 21 June, 2012 at McCormick Place North in Chicago.
The vacuum handling tool is meant for components that are as small as 01005. This new kit can be directly plugged into 110 V 50/60 Hz. Various parts of SMT, optics and ball lenses that are used in today’s industry can be handled by this compact unit. The kit is equipped with a set of eight small parts and rubber tipped vacuum tips. The company provides a free 2.5X lighted magnifier, which operates on three AAA batteries, with the purchase of this small part handling kit.
The new compact kit can handle parts as small as 0.05 in. without causing any damage. Lost components related to mechanical tweezer handling are eliminated by a vacuum tweezer. The durable diaphragm vacuum pump in the kit produces mercury of about 10 in. with 2.3 lpm of open air flow. A three-wire power cord is used to connect the unit to the ground automatically.
Colorado-based Virtual Industries offers manual vacuum handling solutions to the high-technology companies across the globe. Semiconductor manufacturers, electronics assemblers, CLASS I clean room personnel, scientists and universities are using the patented ESD-safe products from the company.
